First puppies are leaving for new homes

Today Poker left with Sarah Stokoe, who just graduated from Cornell. We are very lucky that Sarah lives close to Batavia (4 hours from Berne), where we attend field trials twice a year. I am sure that we will have a chance to see Poker again on a regular basis. Poker is going to be a big boy - at ten weeks he is already 10 lbs.

It is great to see young women like Sarah getting involved in hunting and tracking!

Yesterday Greta left with Dustin Edwards from Georgia. We spent six hours with Dustin, and had a chance to get to know him better. This is the advantage of meeting people face-to-face and spending with them several hours. We establish a working relationship that should benefit both parties - new owners of puppies and us, puppies' breeders.
