Our puppies' journal. Info related to breeding and raising dachshund puppies for blood tracking and hunting. A sidekick to our www.born-to-track.com website.
Great training. I´v been not so good to comment but I´ve read all your post with great interest about the puppies. Ours are now in their new homes and its very empty now. My partner is the one most sad about they leaving. He been at home for the last 3 weeks with them. I had to work. But they had their owner Before they was born and I Think thats was easy to have in mind.
It was a very nice litter and all are looking good, full of spirit and interested to discover the World. We have done a lot of social training. Not with a liver :-) Roe legs was interesting thing for them. Now we dont have them as tracking dogs like you. You have to train just that early I Think. Next autumn will the pups start their hunting training. This autumn is only socialization outdoors, recalls and so on. We have Midsummer celebration this weekend. Dancing around the Midsummer tree, party, eating fresh potatoes with heering.... Hugsfrom us!
