Quentin, Ranger and Remy at 9 weeks

Quentin (light blue) - above and below
Ranger (black) above and below
Remy (yellow) above and below

These three males, even though now look quite short coated, will have very nice wirehaired coats when they mature.

Interesting! When you say "very nice wirehaired coats", does that also imply that they will have very nice beards?

Do all your puppies have homes yet? Will they all be full size dachshunds?

Stan,
Nobody can predict how long beard these dogs will develop. But they are going to be wirehairs with a beard. By a very nice wirehaired coat I mean the coat that is harsh and wiry, does not require a lot of grooming, provides a good protection in a thick and thorny cover and bad weather. Whether these dogs will have a long and bushy beard like Joeri and Tommy's or shorter one like Billy's is anybody's guess. If you want a guarantee of a long and bushy beard, then you need to go with a puppy who has a softer and longer coat.

Rachel,
All pups are spoken for. Yes, we expect them to be standards in size.

Thanks, Jola. I was not sure if one trait (the nice wirehaired coat) implied that the other (beard) would occur. Thanks for clearing it up.
